Structural Acrylics

Permabond’s structural acrylic adhesives offer superior tensile, shear, and peel strength for high-performance applications. Their rapid, room-temperature cure enables increased production efficiency and cost savings. There are different categories that fall under structural acrylic adhesives, these are: Polyolefin Bonding Adhesives, MMA Structural Adhesives and Non-MMA Structural Adhesives.

Polyolefin Bonding Adhesives – Polyolefin Bonding Adhesives are available as a mix ratio of 1:1. For products within this range there is no need to use hazardous primers or expensive pre-treatments. Polyolefin Bonding Adhesives are primarily used for bonding untreated polypropylene and polyethylene substrates. Products that can be found within this range are: TA4610, TA4611 and TA4631

MMA Structural Adhesives – MMA (Methyl Methacrylate) adhesives offer a great performance in sheer and peel strength. MMA products can also provide a high-speed cure and rapid strength development. Typical products within this range include: TA4204, TA4207 and TA4202

Non-MMA Structural Adhesives – Also known as surface activated adhesives, Non-MMA products require an Initiator to provide an optimal bond. A product that we can offer from this range is: TA459
