Permabond TA4246

Permabond TA4246 is a 2-part, no-mix room temperature curing structural adhesive, designed to create high-strength bonds across a wide variety of substrate materials. Offering an amber liquid appearance and exceptional environmental durability, TA4246 is an ideal solution for replacing rivets or welding in lightweight assemblies.

With very high shear and peel strength, Permabond TA4246 provides excellent impact resistance on substrates such as mild steel, aluminium, and various plastics, giving finished assemblies a durable and chemically resistant bond. This structural adhesive comes as a no-mix application system when used with Permabond Initiator 46, simplifying the assembly process and ensuring high-performance results without the need for complex mixing equipment.

TA4246 is ideal for high-speed industrial environments as application can be done quickly to achieve fixture strength on aluminium in just 1 to 2 minutes.
