Permabond TA459

Permabond TA459 is a structural acrylic adhesive primarily designed for bonding metals, ferrites, ceramics, and some thermoplastics. Offering a blue thixotropic appearance, TA459 is an ideal solution for applications requiring a non-corrosive bond to sensitive copper parts or other electrically conductive surfaces.

With high shear and impact strength, Permabond TA459 provides excellent adhesion to zinc and steel, giving components a durable, acid-free finish. This structural acrylic comes as a no-mix application system when used with Initiator 41 or 43, reducing assembly complexity and allowing for increased production rates.

TA459 is ideal for high-speed manufacturing environments as it features a rapid strength development, achieving fixture strength on mild steel in as little as 20 to 40 seconds at room temperature.
