Permabond TA4202 – Two-Part, 1:1 Toughened Acrylic Adhesive (50Ml)

Permabond TA4202 is a two-part, 1:1 toughened acrylic adhesive designed for high-performance structural bonding. It is highly versatile, capable of bonding a wide variety of materials including metals, plastics, GRP, ceramics, and wood. One of its most convenient features is its ability to be used “bead-on-bead” without a mixing nozzle, or through a standard static mixer.

As a toughened adhesive, TA4202 offers excellent durability with high shear and peel strength. It is specifically formulated to provide superior impact resistance and good chemical stability, making it suitable for demanding industrial applications where components are subject to stress or harsh environmental conditions.

TA4202 is ideal for fast-paced assembly lines as it offers a maximum gap fill of 0.5mm and a very quick fixture time of 5–10 minutes at 23°C. It reaches working strength in just 20–25 minutes and achieves a full structural cure within 24 hours, resulting in a robust bond with a Shore D hardness of 75–80.
