Permabond ET5147 – 2:1 Mixable Epoxy Adhesive (50Ml)

Permabond ET5147 is a high-strength, two-part epoxy adhesive specifically formulated to meet FDA 175.105 requirements, making it a reliable choice for applications where the cured product may come into contact with food or beverages. It is an ideal solution for the structural bonding of metal, wood, composites, and certain plastics, providing excellent resistance to impact and vibration.

As a 2:1 mixable system, ET5147 features a rapid cure speed coupled with high structural strength. Its robust formulation ensures high environmental durability, maintaining long-term bond integrity even under mechanical stress and varying temperature conditions.

ET5147 is ideal for precision engineering and food-grade assembly as it offers a maximum gap fill of 2mm and a usable pot life of 40–80 minutes. It reaches a working strength in 16 hours at 23°C (or just 30 minutes at 60°C) and eventually cures to a tough, ivory-coloured finish with high dielectric strength.
