Permabond ET5429 – Thixotropic Two Part Adhesive (50Ml)

Permabond ET5429 is a thixotropic, two-part structural epoxy adhesive specifically engineered for bonding composite materials. It is an ideal solution for applications where gap filling or vertical application is required, offering excellent resistance to impact, vibration, and elevated temperatures.

With its controlled flow properties and ease of mixing, ET5429 is designed for high-performance assembly in industries like aerospace and automotive. Once cured, it provides exceptional shear and peel strength across a wide range of substrates, including carbon fiber, GRP, and various plastics, maintaining its structural integrity even under significant thermal and mechanical stress.

ET5429 is ideal for complex composite assemblies as it offers a 2:1 mix ratio and a maximum gap fill of 5mm. It provides a generous pot life of 2–4 hours, reaches handling strength in 6–10 hours at 23°C, and achieves a full structural cure within 72 hours (or just 2 hours at 60°C), resulting in a robust, charcoal-black finish.
