Permabond ES550

Permabond ES550 is a single-part epoxy paste specifically formulated to be slump-resistant, ensuring it does not flow during the heat-curing process. Featuring a silver-grey appearance, it is an ideal solution for bonding a wide range of materials including metals, ferrites, ceramics, and composites, particularly where maintaining a precise adhesive bead profile is critical.

With exceptionally high impact resistance and superior peel and shear strength, Permabond ES550 provides a durable, toughened bond capable of withstanding significant mechanical stress and thermal cycling. This adhesive is designed for maximum ease of use as it requires no mixing or weighing, making it a reliable choice for demanding industrial applications such as motor assembly and heavy-duty engineering.

ES550 is ideal for structural bonding on vertical surfaces or large gaps as it offers a maximum gap fill of 5mm and maintains its position even at high temperatures. It can reach full strength in as little as 40 minutes at 170°C, or under 3 minutes when using induction curing methods.
