Permabond ES579

Permabond ES579 is a single-part, ivory-coloured epoxy adhesive that requires heat to cure, eliminating the need for manual mixing. It is an ideal solution for bonding metal surfaces, ceramics, and composite materials in high-volume production environments where high thermal conductivity and electrical insulation are required.

With exceptionally high shear, impact, and peel strength, Permabond ES579 provides excellent resistance to vibration and chemicals. This toughened adhesive is designed to maintain bond integrity even at high temperatures, making it a reliable choice for demanding applications such as paint baking or wave soldering processes.

ES579 is ideal for streamlined assembly processes as it offers a maximum gap fill of 2mm and can reach full cure in as little as 20 minutes at 180°C or under 3 minutes via induction curing.
