Permabond 101

Permabond 101 is an ultra-low-viscosity ethyl cyanoacrylate adhesive specifically engineered for applications requiring maximum penetration or for bonding very close-fitting components. Its wicking nature makes it an ideal solution for pre-assembled parts, where it can be applied to the joint edge to seal by capillary action.

With its 100% reactive, solvent-free formulation, Permabond 101 provides a high-strength bond that develops rapidly at room temperature. It is approved to MIL-A-46050C Type II Class 1, making it a reliable choice for high-precision electronics, medical equipment, and general industrial assembly where a “water-thin” adhesive is required.

101 is ideal for technical bonding tasks as it offers an exceptionally low viscosity of 1–3 mPa.s and a maximum gap fill of 0.05mm. It reaches handling strength on steel in 10–15 seconds and on most rubbers in under 10 seconds at room temperature, with a full structural cure achieved within 24 hours.
