Description
Permabond QFS16 is a Cyanoacrylate activator designed to speed up cure and set times. Typical applications are for porous parts, mated parts and wire tacking applications. QFS16 can be used to help cure excess adhesive fillets.

- Accelerated fixture time on closely mated assemblies.
- Enhanced gap cure rate.
- Improves cyanoacrylate adhesion to porous materials.
- Decreases susceptibility to environmental stress cracking in polymers.
- Maintains surface aesthetic integrity.
- Reduces cyanoacrylate blooming or vapour deposition.
- Promotes cyanoacrylate polymerisation on passivated metallic surfaces, aged polyvinyl chloride, and acidic substrates such as wood.
