Permabond 820 ? Low Viscosity High Temp Cyanoacrylate (20G)

Permabond 820 is a low-viscosity, modified ethyl cyanoacrylate adhesive specifically engineered for high-temperature applications. It is an ideal solution for bonding rubber, metal, and plastics where durability at elevated temperatures is required, maintaining its integrity in conditions where standard cyanoacrylates might fail.

With a 100% reactive, solvent-free formulation, Permabond 820 features rapid “fixture and handling” times, making it suitable for high-speed production environments. It is passed for cytotoxicity biocompatibility and is designed to withstand the thermal stresses of processes such as paint baking and wave soldering, provided the joint is not unduly stressed.

820 is ideal for high-temperature industrial assembly as it offers a viscosity of 100 mPa.s and a maximum gap fill of 0.15mm. It reaches handling strength on steel, rubber, and phenolic surfaces in 10–15 seconds at room temperature, with a full structural cure achieved within 24 hours.
