Permabond 940 (20g)

Permabond 940 is a low-odour, non-fogging alkoxyethyl cyanoacrylate designed to provide high-quality aesthetic finishes on a wide variety of materials. It is an ideal solution for applications where “blooming”—the unsightly white powdery residue common with standard instant glues—must be eliminated to maintain the appearance of the finished part.

With 100% reactive solids and a solvent-free formulation, Permabond 940 offers a safer and more comfortable working environment for operators. This adhesive provides excellent shear strength on diverse substrates, including plastics like ABS and polycarbonate, as well as metals such as steel and aluminium.

940 is ideal for high-speed assembly and delicate decorative bonding as it offers a low viscosity of 3–10 mPa.s and a maximum gap fill of 0.05mm. It reaches handling strength in as little as 2 seconds on certain rubbers and 10–15 seconds on most plastics and metals, with a full structural cure achieved within 24 hours.
