Permabond 947

Permabond 947 is a low odour, non-fogging alkoxyethyl cyanoacrylate, designed to eliminate unsightly frosting adjacent to bondlines. Offering a colourless appearance and improved worker comfort, 947 is an ideal solution for bonding most materials including plastics, rubbers, and metals where aesthetics are a priority.

With a high shear strength on steel and aluminium, Permabond 947 can be used to bond PVC, ABS, and phenolic resins giving them a high-quality, clean finish. This single-component adhesive comes as a 100% reactive formula with no solvents, reducing the environmental impact and ensuring the production of acceptable parts even in humid conditions.

947 is ideal for high-speed assembly as application can be done with no mixing or heat cure to achieve fixture strength in as little as 10 to 15 seconds.
