Permabond MH196 – Anaerobic Gasketmaker (75Ml)

Permabond MH196 is an anaerobic “formed in situ” gasket maker designed for metal surfaces. It replaces conventional gaskets of all sizes, reducing stock requirements and improving load transmission through surface-to-surface contact. Once cured, the material does not shrink, creep, or relax, eliminating the need for bolt re-tightening.
This red, high-viscosity adhesive offers excellent chemical and temperature resistance up to 200°C. It provides an instant low-pressure seal and is capable of withstanding high pressure once fully cured.
MH196 is ideal for heavy-duty gasketing as it offers a maximum gap fill of 0.5mm. It reaches handling strength on mild steel in approximately 15 minutes at 23°C and achieves full strength within 24 hours, resulting in a medium-strength seal with a break torque of 20 N·m.
