Permabond MH052

Permabond MH052 is a high-performance anaerobic thread sealant ideal for sealing threaded joints against gas, water, LPG, hydrocarbons, and oils. Offering a yellow, high viscosity paste consistency, MH052 is an ideal solution for replacing PTFE tape and hemp, as it will not shred or dry out, providing a durable seal that often exceeds the burst rating of the pipe.

With excellent chemical resistance and multiple industry certifications, Permabond MH052 is WRAS listed for contact with potable water and features DVGW, BAM, and oxygen service approvals. This sealant is specifically designed to provide a pressure-tight seal for natural gas and LPG systems up to 20 bar, as well as gaseous oxygen systems up to 10 bar, ensuring safety and reliability in critical infrastructure and machinery.

MH052 is ideal for heavy-duty industrial plumbing and equipment manufacturing as it handles gaps up to 0.5mm and reaches handling strength on steel in approximately 15 minutes at room temperature.
