Permabond A905

Permabond A905 (Anaerobic Surface Activator) is a green, solvent-based activator specifically designed for use with Permabond anaerobic adhesives and sealants. It is an ideal solution for bonding non-metallic surfaces, activating low-reactivity metals, or improving adhesive performance on contaminated surfaces.

With the ability to be applied via spray, wipe, or dip, Permabond A905 provides a reliable way to accelerate cure speeds and increase the maximum gap-filling capability of anaerobic materials. It is formulated to be user-friendly while ensuring high-strength structural integrity in mechanical assemblies, such as threadlocking or pipe sealing.

A905 is ideal for industrial maintenance and high-speed production as it offers a rapid evaporation rate and a low viscosity of 0.7 mPa.s. It ensures that bonded components reach their full structural strength within 24 hours at room temperature, making it a critical component for ensuring reliability in challenging assembly environments.

Important Usage Note: Do not mix Permabond A905 directly with anaerobic adhesives; it should be applied to the substrate and allowed to evaporate before the second component is joined.
