Permabond 130UV (20g)

Permabond 130UV is a low-viscosity, dual-cure cyanoacrylate adhesive designed to solve the common limitations of standard light-cure products. By combining rapid UV curing with a secondary moisture-cure mechanism, it is an ideal solution for bonding opaque substrates where “shadow areas” (sections unreachable by light) exist, ensuring a complete and reliable bond throughout the joint.

With ISO 10993-5 cytotoxicity biocompatibility and a low-hazard SDS profile, Permabond 130UV is well-suited for medical device assembly and consumer electronics. The adhesive fluoresces under UV light to allow for easy automated inspection, and it is specifically formulated to reduce odour and the “blooming” (white residue) often associated with instant adhesives.

130UV is ideal for high-speed precision manufacturing as it offers a tack-free surface in seconds when exposed to a UV torch or LED lamp (365nm – 400nm). It provides excellent adhesion to diverse materials including stainless steel, polycarbonate, and various rubbers, reaching high shear strengths of up to 17 N/mm² while maintaining a transparent finish in thin layers.
