Permabond 799 (20g)

Permabond 799 is a high-viscosity, surface-insensitive ethyl cyanoacrylate adhesive designed for rapid bonding across a wide range of materials. It is an ideal solution for bonding porous substrates, as its high viscosity prevents the adhesive from wicking into surface pores before it can fixture, while also minimizing frosting (blooming) and fogging.

With its 100% reactive, solvent-free formulation, Permabond 799 combines extremely fast setting times with the ability to bridge relatively large gaps. This makes it particularly effective for high-speed production lines involving plastics, metals, ceramics, and elastomers, ensuring robust structural integrity with minimal aesthetic impact.

799 is ideal for demanding assembly tasks as it offers a high viscosity of 5,000 mPa.s and a maximum gap fill of 0.5mm. It reaches handling strength on steel, rubber, and phenolic surfaces in just 8 seconds at room temperature, with a full structural cure achieved within 24 hours.
