Permabond 240 (50g)

Permabond 240 is a high-viscosity ethyl cyanoacrylate adhesive specifically designed for applications involving large gaps or porous surfaces. It is an ideal solution for bonding plastics, rubber, and metals, particularly in high-speed production environments where rapid strength development is critical.

With its 100% reactive, solvent-free formulation, Permabond 240 eliminates the need for mixing or heat curing, polymerizing rapidly when pressed into a thin film between components. Its high viscosity ensures the adhesive stays in place on porous substrates, preventing it from wicking away before a secure bond is formed.

240 is ideal for industrial assembly and heavy-duty repairs as it offers a viscosity of 1,200–2,500 mPa.s and a maximum gap fill of 0.4mm. It reaches handling strength on steel in 15–20 seconds at room temperature, with a full structural cure achieved within 24 hours.
