Permabond 731

Permabond 731 is a toughened, flexible ethyl cyanoacrylate adhesive designed for applications requiring superior impact and peel strength. Unlike conventional instant glues, it is formulated to provide excellent durability on a wide variety of surfaces, including galvanized steel, aluminium, and elastomers, where it offers consistent performance throughout its stable shelf life.

With a 100% reactive, solvent-free composition, Permabond 731 polymerizes rapidly at room temperature. Its toughened nature allows it to absorb shocks and vibrations that would typically cause standard cyanoacrylates to fail, making it a reliable choice for high-stress industrial environments.

731 is ideal for robust structural bonding and flexible assembly as it offers a viscosity of 150 mPa.s and a maximum gap fill of 0.15mm. It reaches handling strength on steel in under 30 seconds at room temperature, with a full structural cure achieved within 24 hours.
