Everyone at HITEK would like to extend a massive congratulations to four very brave staff members @CameronFinch, Matthew, Jake and Wayne as they all completed a skydive in aid of @LindseyLodge this past Saturday! In doing so they raised very close to £3000 which is absolutely phenomenal and a great token of support for such a wonderful charity.

On top of this HITEK orchestrated a dress down and cake day this past Friday in order to help raise additional funds for the skydive and support Lindsey Lodge further. This saw us raise a fantastic total of £191.60 on the day for such a great cause!

Over the course of March, HITEK have been collecting money for a raffle for the end of the month. The goal of the raffle is to guess the rabbits name in the hamper with a staggering 210 possible names. For each name a £1 donation was made.

Through doing this we have managed to raise a generous total of £175 for the Little Lives Appeal. We hope this money can be used to help fund the wishes of those staying in the Disney ward and the outpatients department within Scunthorpe’s General Hospital.

On Friday 1st March HITEK had one of its infamous cake and dress down days, to help raise money for The Beat Goes On. This charity is in association with Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) to help spread awareness for potential undiagnosed cardiac conditions. The Beat Goes On was setup after the unfortunate loss of the organisers son due to an undiagnosed cardiac conditions with no prior symptoms present.

Our efforts saw us raise £70 from cakes and brownies Gordon Ramsay would be proud of.

Feeling a little down after the festive break? We all know Blue Monday can hit hard, but at HITEK, we’re taking a stand against the Monday blues! HITEK have beaten the blues by putting on another classic charity day. With a blue themed dress down and phenomenal cakes baked, a buzzing happy atmosphere can be felt across the Premises.

This year, we’re donating the money raised on the day to the Friends Of St Hugh’s (FOSH), an incredible charity that supports our local Special School by giving students a more fun experience within the St Hughs special school.

This money raised will go towards helping run the School Fayre’s, Prom and Excursion events. We hope the money will help develop their young peoples development and enjoyment of life.

The HITEK team made a great effort for the 2023 Christmas Jumper Day. Louise, Rachael, Hannah and Janet made some excellent cakes for the bake sale and the staff raised £71.98 for Lindsey Lodge Hospice who are situated in the heart of North Lincolnshire. Lindsey Lodge have been providing high quality, specialist palliative care  and wellbeing services to local people and families living with life limiting illnesses for 30 years.
