Stycast Antifoam 88

Stycast Antifoam 88 is a clear, low viscosity acrylate copolymer additive engineered to inhibit or eliminate foam formation in a variety of resin systems, including epoxies, urethanes, polyesters, and polysulfide rubbers. It is particularly effective when integrated into formulations that require vacuum de-airing, a process where excessive foaming often complicates production. By significantly reducing air entrapment, this organic air-release agent ensures a more consistent and void-free final product.
The additive is designed for high efficiency; because only a minimal amount is required to achieve the desired results, the cured properties of the host resins system are minimally affected. Supplied as a yellow-tinted liquid with a density of 0.85 g/cm³, Stycast Antifoam 88 offers a shelf life of 365 days when stored at 25°C.
