Permabond HH040 PURE (1ltr)

Permabond HH040 PURE is an NSF 61 certified anaerobic retaining compound specifically designed for use in drinking water system components. Offering a colourless to light amber thixotropic finish, HH040 PURE is an ideal solution for shaft-hub assemblies, allowing for slip fits that can eliminate the need for expensive press fits.

With excellent shear strength and superior environmental resistance, Permabond HH040 PURE cures to a tough cross-linked plastic that prevents corrosion, wear, and pitting of mated parts. This high-viscosity adhesive fills the air space between components to unitize and retain male and female parts, ensuring they do not move relative to each other under stress or vibration.

HH040 PURE is ideal for water treatment and distribution equipment as it provides maximum gap-filling ability for tolerances up to 0.25mm and reaches handling strength on steel in approximately 15 minutes at room temperature.
