Permabond ET5003

Permabond ET5003 is a two-part, fast-curing structural epoxy adhesive primarily engineered for the repair and bonding of metal substrates. It is an ideal solution for applications where high shear strength and rapid cure at room temperature are essential, particularly when dealing with gaps that require a thixotropic (non-slump) material.

As a versatile repair compound, ET5003 features controlled flow properties that simplify mixing and application. Its unique formulation allows the bonded or repaired area to be sanded and painted after a short period, making it a highly effective choice for automotive, industrial, and maintenance tasks where aesthetic finishing is required.

ET5003 is ideal for heavy-duty structural repairs as it offers a 1:1 mix ratio by volume and a maximum gap fill of 2mm. It reaches handling strength in just 12–15 minutes at 23°C and develops working strength within 30–60 minutes, eventually curing to a robust, silver-grey finish with high compressive and shear resistance.
