Permabond ET5162 is a lightly thixotropic, two-part epoxy adhesive specifically designed to meet rigorous food safety standards, including FDA 175.105, FDA 175.300, and EU 10/2011 regulations. Offering an off-white and white mixed appearance, ET5162 is an ideal solution for bonding stainless steel in food contact applications, though it maintains excellent adhesion to various other substrates like aluminium and composites.

With high shear strength and excellent temperature resistance, Permabond ET5162 provides a durable and safe bond for industrial food processing equipment. ET5162 is ideal for precision assembly and food-grade repairs as it offers a maximum gap fill of 2mm and a manageable gel time of 60 to 80 minutes, with full strength achievable in just 1 hour when heat-cured at 60°C.
