Permabond A118 (10 x 50ml)

Permabond A118 is a high-strength, green anaerobic adhesive specifically designed for the permanent locking and sealing of metal components such as bearings, gears, and studs. It is an ideal solution for applications requiring high resistance to vibration, fatigue, and fretting corrosion, allowing machining tolerances to be relaxed and potentially eliminating the need for mechanical locking devices.

With excellent chemical resistance and high shear strength, Permabond A118 provides a robust, permanent bond. This adhesive is WRAS listed, making it suitable for contact with wholesome (potable) water, and it features UV fluorescence to facilitate easy inspection and quality control during the assembly process.

A118 is ideal for precision engineering and maintenance as it offers a maximum gap fill of 0.12mm and can accommodate thread sizes up to M20 (¾”). It reaches handling strength on steel in approximately 15 minutes at room temperature, with full structural strength achieved within 24 hours.
