Permabond 712

Permabond 712 is a low-viscosity, solvent-free ethyl cyanoacrylate adhesive engineered for specialized performance in challenging environments. It is an ideal solution for applications requiring exceptional water resistance, including underwater use, and maintains high adhesion strength in hot and wet conditions.

With a 100% reactive formulation, Permabond 712 polymerizes rapidly at room temperature, providing excellent thermal resistance suitable for continuous use up to 120°C (with peaks up to 150°C). This makes it a versatile choice for bonding a wide variety of substrates, including metals, plastics, and rubbers, where durability against moisture and heat is critical.

712 is ideal for high-performance industrial assembly as it offers a viscosity of 100 mPa.s and a maximum gap fill of 0.15mm. It reaches handling strength on most surfaces rapidly—such as 3 seconds for Buna-N rubber and 15 seconds for mild steel—with a full structural cure achieved within 24 hours.
