LOCTITE TCF 2000AF is a versatile phase-change thermal interface solution designed for use between heat-generating components and their cooling systems.
At room temperature, the product remains a dry, solid compound, making it significantly easier to handle than traditional pastes while reducing mess and waste during application.
Once the component reaches its designated phase-change temperature (around 51°C) the material transforms into a viscous liquid, flowing into the microscopic surface features of the interface to expel trapped air.
This transition minimises thermal impedance, creating a highly efficient path for heat transfer.
Supplied as a dry coating on an aluminium substrate, it serves as a robust replacement for thermal grease in computing applications and is suitable for use with any electrically isolated, heat-dissipating component. To streamline the manufacturing process, TCF 2000AF is available as die-cut preforms tailored to specific electronic devices, with custom shapes also available through low-cost tooling options.
