Permabond MT3821 – 2:1 Two-Part Modified Epoxy Adhesive (50Ml)

Permabond MT3821 is a two-part, modified epoxy adhesive specifically engineered for sealing and bonding applications. It is an ideal solution for bonding a wide variety of substrates, including Nylon, ABS, Polycarbonate, and other plastics, as well as various metals. Once cured, this adhesive is notably soft and flexible, making it suitable for applications where joint movement or vibration may occur.

Designed for ease of application with a 2:1 mix ratio by volume, MT3821 provides high-performance bonding across a diverse range of materials, from carbon fiber to wood. Its flexibility is evidenced by a high elongation at break of 100–150%, ensuring the bond remains intact under mechanical stress.

MT3821 is ideal for industrial assembly and sealing as it offers a maximum gap fill of 5mm and a usable pot life of 10–20 minutes. It reaches a handling strength of $0.1text{ N/mm²}$ in 60–90 minutes at 23°C and achieves a full structural cure within 72 hours, resulting in a tough, black finish.
