Permabond 105

Permabond 105 is a high-purity, low-viscosity ethyl cyanoacrylate adhesive specifically engineered for the rapid bonding of difficult plastic and rubber substrates. It is an ideal solution for materials that are typically hard to bond, such as natural rubber, EPDM, and butyl rubber, providing a secure attachment where standard adhesives might fail.

With its 100% reactive, solvent-free formulation, Permabond 105 polymerizes rapidly when pressed into a thin film between components. This makes it a preferred choice for high-speed production lines, ensuring high-strength bonds are developed almost instantly at room temperature without the need for mixing or heat curing.

105 is ideal for precision rubber and plastic assembly as it offers a low viscosity of 30–50 mPa.s and a maximum gap fill of 0.1mm. It reaches handling strength on most rubbers in under 10 seconds and on plastics like PVC and ABS in 5–10 seconds, with a full structural cure achieved within 24 hours.
