Product Description
Shieldex® 33/10 is a highly conductive multifilament yarn offering an electrical resistance of ≤4 kΩ/m.
This Z-twist yarn combines a 99.9% pure silver thread to give an antimicrobial and antistatic element, providing excellent performance in shielding garments and large-scale textile applications where silver acts as a biocidal agent.
Typical usage of this yarn is within the textiles industry where electromagnetic shielding, anti-odor properties, or antistatic functions are present in order to achieve OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, REACH, and RoHS compliance
- Antimicrobial, antistatic, and electrically conductive (4k Ω m).
- Typical applications – Electromagnetic shielding, antimicrobial/anti-odor garments, and antistatic carpets or curtains.
- 99.9% pure silver plating on a Polyamide / Nylon 6 core.
- REACH, RoHS, and OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 compliant.
