Shieldex Conductive Twisted Yarn 117/17 2-ply HC + B

Shieldex® 117/17 x2 HC + B is an extremely conductive multifilament yarn offering a low electrical resistance of 300 Ω m. This Z 550 twist yarn features a double-twist (x2) construction and a higher silver content to achieve its “High Conductivity” (HC) rating. The integration of a nitrile rubber (+ B) protective coating ensures the silver plating remains durable under mechanical stress, while the high tensile strength (44 cN/tex) makes it ideal for complex embroidery and integration into large-scale industrial smart textiles. Typical usage of this yarn is within the textiles industry where precision sensors, actuators, or high-performance conductors are present in order to achieve OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, REACH, and RoHS compliance.
