Product Description
Shieldex® 117/17 is a high tenacity conductive multifilament yarn offering an electrical resistance of < 1.5 k Ω/m.
This Z-twist yarn combines a 99.9% pure silver thread to provide excellent antimicrobial and antistatic properties, making it an ideal component for shielding clothing and technical IT applications. With a titre of 117dtex, it maintains high durability while offering the flexibility needed for large-scale textile production.
Typical usage of this yarn is within the textiles industry where heating elements, sensors, or electromagnetic radiation shielding are present in order to achieve OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, REACH, and RoHS compliance.
