Shieldex Bremen Conductive Fabric

Shieldex® Bremen RS is a robust, silver-plated ripstop fabric designed for high-performance shielding and technical sensor applications.

With a shielding effectiveness of up to 60 dB in the 0.2 to 14 GHz frequency range, this fabric is a staple in the production of EMC shielding enclosures and protective curtains. The high thread density (approx. 2,500 threads per cm²) allows the material to withstand significant mechanical stress, while the pure silver coating provides natural antibacterial properties. Its surface resistivity of < 0.3 Ω/² makes it an excellent choice for thermal and electrical conductivity in smart textile sensors.

Typical usage of this fabric is within the industrial and medical sectors where EMC materials or antimicrobial surfaces are required in order to achieve OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, REACH, and RoHS compliance.
