Ablestik 8-2 is a high-reliability, one-component, epoxy adhesive specifically engineered for MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) packaging and precision instrument assembly. As a non-conductive die attach material, it provides a critical balance of high thermal dissipation and electrical insulation.

The most notable characteristic of Ablestik 8-2 is its thermal efficiency; it offers eight times the thermal conductivity of standard unfilled epoxies. This allows heat-generating dies to stay cool without the risk of electrical short-circuiting. Its blue colour assists in the manual or automated visual inspection during the dispensing process.
