Shieldex Conductive Multifilament Yarn 117/17 HCB

Shieldex® 117/17 HCB is a high-conductivity multifilament yarn offering an electrical resistance of <500Ω/m.

This Z-twist yarn features a higher silver content to achieve its “High Conductivity” (HC) rating, combined with a nitrile rubber (+ B) protective coating. This additional layer ensures the silver plating remains intact under mechanical stress, making it ideal for knitting into complex smart textile patterns without losing electrical performance.

Typical usage of this yarn is within the textiles industry where textile conductors, actuators, or lighting elements are present in order to achieve OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, REACH, and RoHS compliance.
