Permabond MT382 – Two-Part Modified Epoxy Adhesive (50Ml)

Permabond MT382 is a two-part, modified epoxy adhesive specifically engineered for sealing, bonding, and potting applications. It is an ideal solution for electronic encapsulation, offering excellent adhesion to Nylon, ABS, Polycarbonate, and other plastics, as well as various metals. The product is self-levelling, ensuring it can flow easily into complex housings or around sensitive components.

A standout feature of MT382 is its flexibility; it can be cured in different mix ratios depending on the level of final flexibility required. It maintains a high elongation at break (150–200%), which allows the cured material to absorb thermal expansion and contraction without cracking or damaging delicate electronic circuitry.

MT382 is ideal for electronic potting as it offers a maximum gap fill of 0.5mm and a usable pot life of 20–50 minutes. It reaches a handling strength of $0.1text{ N/mm²}$ in approximately 105–120 minutes at $25^circtext{C}$ and achieves a full structural cure within 72 hours, resulting in a charcoal-black finish with excellent dielectric properties.
