Shieldex Conductive Multifilament Yarn 78/20 + OA

Shieldex® 78/20 + OA is a high-performance silver-plated yarn offering an electrical resistance of < 3.5k Ω m. This Z-twist yarn combines the natural biocidal and conductive properties of 99.9% pure silver with a specialized + OA ultra-thin coating. This water-soluble finish is specifically designed to improve the running properties during weaving, embroidering, and knitting, making it ideal for the large-scale textile industry. It provides an effective shield against electromagnetic radiation while maintaining anti-odor and antimicrobial functions. Typical usage of this yarn is within the textiles industry where shielding garments, antistatic carpets, or medical-grade antimicrobial fabrics are present in order to achieve OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, REACH, and RoHS compliance.
