Stycast 2762

Stycast 2762 is a high-performance, two-component, epoxy encapsulant designed for electronic components operating in extreme environments. It is specifically engineered to provide a hermetic seal when bonding to metal surfaces, while also serving as a robust protective coating for glass and plastics.

This material is highly loaded with functional fillers to achieve a very low Coefficient of Thermal Expansion (CTE) and high thermal conductivity. It is the ideal choice for large, complex castings where managing heat and dimensional stability is critical to preventing component failure. Due to its extreme hardness and filler loading, this material is not easily cut; if post-cure modification is required, it must be ground rather than machined.
