Stycast 2057 is a black, low-viscosity epoxy encapsulant designed for high-efficiency machine dispensing. Its standout feature is a soft-filler system, specifically formulated to solve two common manufacturing pain points: equipment wear and post-cure finishing.
By using non-abrasive fillers, this resin significantly reduces internal abrasion within mixing and dispensing equipment, extending the service life of pumps and valves. Furthermore, this filler technology ensures the cured product is readily machinable, making it the ideal choice for parts that require drilling, milling, or tapping after the moulding process is complete.
