HITEK Electronic Materials Limited, an Aeromed Group Company, was founded in 1985, headquartered in North Lincolnshire, is a trusted global partner in the Electronics Industry, with more than 40 years of experience in manufacturing and distribution. Our primary focus is serving the Military Aerospace & Defence sectors, and we hold qualifications in accordance with MIL DTL 83528 QPL 9-2008. HITEK is proud to carry accreditations in AS9100D and BS EN ISO 9001:2015, and we have earned recognition from SC21.

Among our key suppliers, you’ll find well-established companies such as Parker Chomerics, Henkel, ABS Technics, Permabond Engineering Adhesives, Shieldex Metallized Technical Textiles, V Technical Textiles, Tecan, Orbel, and Cortec.

1985

HITEK Electronic Materials is established by Ed Nixon and Reg Shuttleworth. Pictured here is Reg hanging up the new sign on HITEK’s property at the time

1986

The first computer is brought into the company. Personal computers were in their infancy at this time. No AI to help make things work, most computers at this time were still command-line.

1991

HITEK move to their new Headquarters at 15 Wentworth road on the 1st July. This was the communication mailed to customers.

1995

HITEK form a partnership with Parker Chomerics for all things EMI-Shielding.

2000

HITEK Form a partnership with Tecan to handle board level shielding applications.

HITEK form a partnership with Henkel. This relationship grew further when Henkel acquired the Ablestik brand later in 2008

2001

This year saw HITEK earn ISO 9001 one of their earliest accreditation. To earn this accreditation HITEK had to prove they had a quality management system in place that facilitated ‘the design and development, distribution, and fabrication of microwave, EMC, and polymer systems for the electronics industry

2003

HITEK acquire Unit 16, this became HITEK’s main production facility allowing for an increase in capacity and capabilities.

HITEK Partnered with Cortec as our core supplier for anti-corrosion.

2005

HITEK acquire Unit 16, this became HITEK’s main production facility allowing for an increase in capacity and capabilities.

2006

HITEK acquire Unit 16, this became HITEK’s main production facility allowing for an increase in capacity and capabilities.

2011

HITEK acquire Unit 16, this became HITEK’s main production facility allowing for an increase in capacity and capabilities.

2015

HITEK Turned thirty! In celebration of this HITEK visited Parker Chomerics’ Czechia site in Prague.

HITEK achieved a new award the Great Place to Work – Best Workplaces for Small Business’ ranking 20th out of 100 ranked business

SC21’s silver award was achieved by HITEK. This showcased the growth and improvements made within the company to achieve this standard

Expansion to unit 15 took place as the sales office tripled in size.

2021

HITEK are announced as the headline sponsor of the Alpha Romeo Championship.

HITEK started to use solar energy. Solar Panels were installed onto Unite 1,2 and 3 to power those units

2023

HITEK Update their branding and signage around the site.

HITEK expand their production facilities to allow for further operations to take place.

2025

HITEK and Henkel partnership reaches 20 years. In celebration of this HITEK visited Henkels main headquarters in Dusseldorf and was shown around their innovation center.

HITEK turned forty! This monumental achievement saw a special day event where staff competed in teams in a wacky sports day. The event then culminated with a celebratory meal at Forest Pines wjere the fun and games continued into the afternoon.

2026

HITEK and HSL are aquired by the Aeromed Group, taking the companies into the new era.
