Stycast 3050

Stycast 3050 is a very low-viscosity, black epoxy encapsulant designed for high-density circuit assemblies and coil windings. Its primary advantage is its exceptional penetration capability; the thin consistency allows the resin to flow effortlessly into tightly packed assemblies with very small physical spacing between components.

The filler system in Stycast 3050 is uniquely engineered to be non-abrasive, which provides two critical benefits: it extends the life of automated dispensing equipment and ensures the cured material is readily machinable. This makes it an ideal choice for general-purpose potting where subsequent drilling, milling, or shaping of the encapsulated part is required.
