Stycast 2850KT Blue is an advanced, filled epoxy encapsulant designed for applications requiring maximum heat dissipation. It is specifically engineered to act as a heat sink replacement in non-integrated electrical components and assemblies. With a thermal conductivity of up to 3.1 W/(m-K), it effectively draws heat away from sensitive circuitry, significantly enhancing component longevity and performance.
Beyond its thermal management capabilities, Stycast 2850KT provides robust electrical insulation, making it the primary choice for high-voltage applications where surface arching or “tracking” is a concern. Its low coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) ensures that even during rapid temperature fluctuations, mechanical stress on bonded substrates is minimal.
