Product Description
CHO-SEAL 1221 is a fluorosilicone material designed for EMI shielding and environmental sealing. It is specifically intended for use in applications where solvent, oil, or jet-fuel compatibility is required. This material is a highly conductive elastomer that combines reliable RF suppression with pressure retention. It’s composed of silver powders dispersed in a fluorosilicone binder. The material is a resilient, homogenous composite that maintains its electrical properties at continuous use temperatures up to 200 °C. It also meets NASA outgassing specifications. When used within the recommended range of continuous-use temperatures, CHO-SEAL 1221 provides reliable shielding and sealing.
