Cho-Foil CCH

SKU: CFCCH

Product Description

Parker Chomerics’ CHO-FOIL CCH is a high-performance, EMI shielding tape featuring a 1 oz. rolled annealed (RA) copper foil. Designed as an economical alternative to traditional soldering, it provides a low-impedance path for grounding, cable shielding, and sealing EMI test enclosures. The copper substrate is highly conductive and flexible, allowing it to conform easily to complex shapes while maintaining superior electrical continuity across mated surfaces.
The tape’s construction consists of a 1.4-mil (0.0356 mm) copper layer paired with a 1.5-mil (0.0381 mm) pressure-sensitive acrylic (PSA) adhesive. The CCH variant is available with either a highly conductive adhesive—impregnated with unique, oxidation-resistant particles—or a non-conductive adhesive for specific isolation needs. In its conductive form, it delivers an exceptionally low electrical resistance of less than 0.003 ohms/in², ensuring that seams and joints remain “leak-free” against electromagnetic interference.
Environmental reliability is a hallmark of the CCH line, which operates across a broad temperature range from -40°C to 205°C. It meets the stringent UL 94 V-0 flammability rating and passes NASA outgassing requirements with a Total Mass Loss (TML) of only 0.04%. With a high peel strength of over 40 oz/in on aluminium substrates, the tape ensures a permanent bond that resists lifting or degradation in high-reliability aerospace and industrial applications.
