Permabond ET5422

Permabond ET5422 is a thixotropic, two-part epoxy adhesive engineered for applications requiring high structural strength and exceptional resistance to impact and vibration. It is an ideal solution for bonding a wide range of substrates, including aluminium, stainless steel, and various composite materials (GFRP/Polyester), particularly where gap filling is necessary to maintain joint integrity.

With its controlled flow properties and long open time, Permabond ET5422 allows for precise application and adjustment of large components. This adhesive is designed for durability in harsh environments, maintaining high performance even at elevated temperatures, and providing a robust bond that excels in heavy-duty engineering and transportation sectors.

ET5422 is ideal for high-stress structural bonding as it offers a maximum gap fill of 5mm and impressive shear strength, reaching up to 40 N/mm² on aluminium. It features a user-friendly 2:1 mix ratio and reaches handling strength in 16 hours at room temperature, with the option to accelerate to a full cure in just 1 hour at 82°C.
