Permabond ET538

Permabond ET538 is a structural, room-temperature curing two-part epoxy adhesive designed for excellent adhesion to a wide variety of surfaces including wood, metal, ceramics, and many plastics. Featuring a white and dark grey mixed appearance with a thixotropic “non-slump” nature, ET538 is an ideal solution for gap filling or vertical applications where a non-drip rheology is required.

With high shear and peel strength, Permabond ET538 provides good impact strength and excellent resistance to petrol, oils, and water. This adhesive offers an extended cure time, making it suitable for larger applications or batch production processes where alignment of parts is necessary before the material sets.

ET538 is ideal for structural bonding in construction and general assembly as it offers a maximum gap fill of 5mm and a long usable pot life of 120 to 150 minutes, reaching working strength in 24 hours at room temperature.
