Permabond ET530

Permabond ET530 is a two-part, colourless epoxy adhesive specifically formulated for applications requiring high clarity and low viscosity. It is an ideal solution for potting and encapsulation of electronic components, as well as bonding glass artistic mosaics or outer wrapping filters (reverse osmosis) where rapid penetration of fibres is essential.

With excellent resistance to discoloration upon light exposure and strong adhesion to a wide variety of substrates, Permabond ET530 provides a durable, aesthetically pleasing bond. This 2:1 mixable adhesive cures at room temperature and is designed for ease of use, making it a reliable choice for both intricate artistic projects and technical industrial assemblies.

ET530 is ideal for precision potting and fibre wetting as it offers a low mixed viscosity of 550 mPa.s and excellent light transmission (>97% at 380-980 nm). It reaches handling strength in 8–12 hours at 23°C, with a full structural cure achieved within 72 hours.
