Permabond 4ES70

Permabond 4ES70 is a single-part, ivory epoxy adhesive specifically formulated for the high-precision bonding of medical devices, such as needles and cannulae. It is an ideal solution for bonding medical plastics and stainless steel, offering a rapid cure at relatively low temperatures to protect heat-sensitive components.

With high shear and peel strength and ISO 10993-5 cytotoxicity biocompatibility, Permabond 4ES70 ensures the structural integrity and safety required for healthcare applications. This adhesive is designed for maximum ease of use, requiring no mixing or weighing, and maintains excellent resistance to thermal cycling and common medical sterilization processes.

4ES70 is ideal for automated medical assembly as it offers a free-flowing consistency at high temperatures and a maximum gap fill of 0.1mm. It can reach full strength in as little as 20 minutes at 115°C, or under 3 minutes when using induction curing methods.
