Ablestik 45W1

Ablestik 45 W1 is a high-performance epoxy adhesive, designed for general assembly where exceptional shock and peel resistance is required. This industrial adhesive is recognised for its versatility; by adjusting the mix ratio of the black resin and the Cat alyst15 hardener, the final properties can be fine-tuned to create either a rigid, semi-rigid, or flexible bond. This adaptability makes it an outstanding choice for bonding mismatched substrates- such as ceramic to plastic or glass to metal – where thermal expansion differences might otherwise cause a bond to fail.

Ablestik 45 W1 is easy to mix and offers a broad range of curing options, from a standard 8-hour room temperature cure to a rapid 15-minute heat-accelerated process at 105°C. The mixed adhesive maintains a functional pot life of approximately 2 hours, providing ample time for precise alignment during complex assembly tasks. Once cured, the material provides robust electrical isolation, characterized by a dielectric strength of 15.6 kV/mm and high surface resistivity.
